Facts about Strut

  • Breed: Pomeranian
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 13175
Strut was rescued from an overwhelmed county shelter. He was filthy, had some open lesion on his tail and butt, probably due to flea dematitis. He was very scared at the shelter. Strut was very good for his bath, and enjoys being brushed. He is now fully vaccinated, neutered, heart-worm negative, microchipped and ready to find his fur-ever home. We have him on flea and heart-worm preventatives. Strut comes when called, walks well on leah and loves sitting near you. He has free roam in his foster home and is completely house-trained. Strut is about 5 yrs old, and weighs 13lbs. He is good with other dogs, we don't know how he would do with cats. He would do best in a fairly quiet home with no small children. For more information, adoption application, please email, vivgraves@hotmail.com
Adoption fee of $250 to help defray veterinary and care expenses to approved home.

About ReFURbished Canine Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

ReFURbished Canine Rescue is a small, 501c3, all volunteer rescue group, based in the Triangle area. Our mission is to rescue, care for, and re-home neglected, abused and or homeless dogs. Four feet, fur, and a good temperament are our requirements. Actually- they can have less than four feet!

We rescue dogs mostly from area shelters, that are in danger of being euthanized often only due to lack of space. ReFURbished Canine Rescue spays and neuters all animals in their care before adoption, helping decrease the companion pet overpopulation problem. Our dogs are fostered in private homes where they learn manners, become socialized with other animals, and spoiled with loving care. They remain in our care until placed in a FUR-ever home

We also provide education to the public regarding the humane care and treatment of all animals. We partner with area shelters and other rescues in an effort to increase adoptions.

Our Adoption Process...

We require a completed adoption application; the application is reviewed, references will be checked before the animal will be adopted. Completing the application does not obligate you or ReFURbished Canine Rescue to the adoption, but is the first step in order to be considered.

Our adoption fees vary so please refer to the pet’s profile for information on the adoption fee.

Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, monthly heartworm/flea preventatives up to the time of adoption, de-worming, and microchip.
