Molly Mae's Story...
Meet Molly May a 7 year old Pug baby that needs a special home. Molly came into rescue July 2014 overweight, diabetic, bladder stones, and a liver shunt. The money was raised and the major life threatening liver shunt was surgically repaired and with this the bladder stones that kept forming stopped with the liver shunt surgery. Molly has lost her excess weight and her blood sugar is under control. She gets 5-6 units of insulin twice a day and one thyroid pill. Diabetes has damaged her eye sight (no pools please) but she still has vision. Molly would do best as an only dog or with a very submissive dog sibling. She is a definite alpha. She is currently in a foster home (same one since she arrived) with 9 other pugs sometimes more. Molly would love a home of her own. If you might be interested please fill out an application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly Mae, a Grapevine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
