Princess's Story...
Birthdate: November 20, 2015. Meet Princess! Princess was rescued from a horrible situation in Puerto Rico where her previous owners physically abused her. After a while they tired of her and left her abandoned in the streets. Thankfully, her rescuer knew of her story and was able to get her off the street and into a foster home. Princess then was able to have all of her vet work done. Then she was flown to Michigan in hopes of finding her forever home, where she could be treated they way she should be. Despite all that she has gone through, Princess is a very lovable and trusting dog. She loves to play with other dogs and she has a lot of energy. Princess weighs about 30 lbs.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sterling Heights, or seeking a Basset Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sterling Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sterling Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sterling Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Basset Hound/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sterling Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
