My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ROSSI and Slick are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Rossi is a 7 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 80 pounds. Slick is a 7 year old neutered yellow male who weigh s 101 pounds. They are looking for a family that will play with them and take them for walks in their new neighborhood. Slick and Rossi are big, strong boys and walk best with an EZ Walk harness. They are well-behaved in the house and enjoy resting in their crate with the door open. They know "come for dinner" and "sit." Slick and Rossi love attention and often try to pretend that they are lap dogs! They love retrieving balls in and out of the pool and enjoy swimming in the warmer months. They would love access to water in their new home together. Slick and Rossi have been trained to an electric fence in a large yard. Slick and Rossi come from the country and have no exposure to big cities. Placements are limited to single family stand-alone homes in a suburban neighborhood, or rural area. They are good with dogs and unknown with cats. Slick and Rossi are approved for kids 10 +.

Update: Slick and Rossi are easy fosters! They are house trained, and rather than being crated, they can be confined to kitchen with respect for baby gate. They came to the adoption day and charmed everyone they met with their big blocky heads and sweet faces. They rode well in car, slept all night on dog beds in the foster's bedroom. Slick is the leader and even though he made his treat demands known at the AALD, he has not barked once outside of that environment. The boys need some leash work - Rossi is easier to walk and both walk best on Easy Walk harnesses. They love to be brushed. Neither seems interested in getting on the furniture. These boys are going to be a treat to their forever family!
