My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SYDNEE is an 18 month old spayed black female Lab who weighs 46 pounds. This happy sweet girl is excited to think about finding her forever family. She is a little shy when she first meets you but within 5 minutes you are her best friend. A very sweet girl with a great Lab lean. She slept thru the night and was ready to go on her walk in the morning. No accidents for this girl. Stayed in her area and crashed on her bed and in her crate during the day while she waited for us to come home from work. Then she was ready to go out and play and have her afternoon walk. She is an athletic girl and could probably scale a 4ft chain link or railed fence. She likes to follow her nose. Has her nose to the ground (I'm sure she is trying to sniff out her new family) the entire time on our walks. She would probably really enjoy doing some nose work if her new family wanted to entertain the idea. Sydnee is good on leash and a good rider. She is good with other dogs. Sydnee comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placement is limited to single family stand-alone homes in a suburban neighborhood, or rural area. She kept her run clean at the vet and was respectful of bedding. No cat history. Approved for kids 10 +.

Update: All dressed up and ready to go! Sweet Sydnee is 1and1/2 year old sweet little girl. She is incredibly smart and very loving. Like most young Labs she is quite active -would make a great walking or hiking buddy. She loves to explore new places and is just as happy hanging out with k9 or human buddies. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, please contact your AC to find out more! She'll be waiting!

Update: Sydnee (1 and 1/2 year old black female) says making friends and playing are some of my favorite things to do! I am good as an only dog too- but I definitely love to play. Foster mom says I have been the perfect house guest. I love my morning walk and then I hang out while everyone goes to work. After work we have more walks and practice what FM calls 'commands'. I call it fun because I love to learn new stuff and I listen very well - especially for being just a young girl like myself. And the it's playtime! I would really like a forever home where I can show off how smart I am. If you are interested in adopting me - contact your AC or fill out an application to adopt me or one of the many labs here being helped by Lab Rescue of the LRCP! I'll be waiting!
