Molly's Story...
Hi, my name is Molly. I love to play with toys, especially when they are round. I can be pretty destructive with the toys, even Kongs. But that's ok because I leave your stuff alone.

I am very loving to my new foster family after being rescued from the pound (9/30/16). I do have a loud, deep bark when I am playing with other dogs. I am learning to walk on a leash around the neighborhood. I love to run and am pretty fast but turning on a dime is not something I'm good at, so if you're in the way, prepare to be bowled over!

I am super sweet and love to lean up against you or get belly rubs. And meeting new people is one of my favorite things to do. I would love to find a home with a large fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Richmond Labrador Retriever/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Coonhound for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Coonhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
