Missy's Story...
*******COURTESY POSTING*****

Hello everyone,

My name is Missy and I've definitely had quite the adventure this fall season. I was found wandering around the streets by a kind Uber driver and then, taken in by a very nice lady. She and her friend made sure that I received all of the vetting that I need, including helping to repair a cut on my lip. You can just barely see the scar that is left from my adventure.

According to everyone who meets me, I am a very sweet girl. I'm fairly young at 1.5 yrs old and I enjoy being active. Walks, jogs, doggy playdates (I get along splendidly with my two foster K9 siblings), and other activities to stimulate my brain and stretch my muscles. I bet you I'd be great a nose-work classes, if I get the chance. Or I'll probably excel at obedience classes, because I'm quite interested whenever there are treats involved. If you're interested in a fun, eager companion...look no further. I'm available and would love to be that companion to you.

I am a svelte 55 lbs. I am very affectionate. Kisses and being your shadow are two things I excel at doing. I am hw negative, spayed, microchipped, and have had all of my vaccinations. I'm all ready to go. If you'd like to meet me, please contact wagsfund@gmail.com and ask for Missy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Houston Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
