Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jake is a 2003 Thoroughbred gelding, Dark Bay 15.2hh. Registered name is Elwood and Jake.
Jake was a stakes placed racehorse who shattered his ankle in his last race and it was not repaired. He was used for breeding and then was neglected and nearly starved to death. This lovely, personable and charming fellow is one of the most loveable horses here at the Center. With his sweet and kind personality, he would bring joy to anyone's farm! He would make a very special companion horse. Jake was a stud when he arrived here at the age of 12, and while he has been castrated, it is recommended that he go to a gelding only home.
