Pearl's Story...
PEARL is believed to be a Pug mix. She is about 1 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 14#s. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and heart worm tested negative. She is personality plus. She is a very personable dog and warms up to strangers quickly wanting to get in their laps...whether invited or not. She loves to play with other dogs. She needs this socialization to be happy. She needs a companion dog that also loves to play...and play hard. Pearl really has the personality of the Pug. She is not yappy. She loves everyone.

PEARL is best friends with GINA (see separate ad). They are not related but they came from the shelter together and have been in my house together for the last 6 mos. They are a complete riot...you don't need TV with them around. They play with all their might and sleep together on my bed. These two are the perfect duo for the apartment/condo/house living arrangements.

Adoption Fee: $350 each or both of them $295 each. This includes all the medical, health certificate for travel; all travel costs to one of the 5 drop-off spots that is used along IH5 from Oregon through Washington. They will be on the transport arriving on Saturday, Oct 22, 2016.

If you are interested please email gingerdog@live.com for an application. She is being fostered with Gina in Olympia, WA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Seattle Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
