Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wanted: Looking for an experienced cat lover with a calm, stable environment for me to flourish. Let me introduce myself, I'm Karmel. I'm a handsome orange and white tabby boy with bright green eyes and the sweetest purr. I'm a little chunky, but that's just more for you to love. Let me tell you a little bit more about myself:
I was in a home with my sister when I was a small kitten. I've always been a sensitive boy, and after being in a busy household, and after a few moves from place to place, I started struggling. My sister began bullying me and things got worse. I became a very scared and frightened kitty.
After being bullied for a long time, I came to Happy Cats. Everyone at Happy Cats has worked with me to get through my fears, and I've showed them all what a loving guy I am. I've really come out of my shell, but new things and new people still frighten me a little. I'm a lover, not a fighter, and sometimes I like to hide. I need a nice, quiet home with a stable environment so I can keep flourishing. I would prefer a home without any children or dogs. I'm still a little shy around other kitties, but Happy Cats is trying to introduce me to other friendly, sensitive kitties like myself.
I really enjoy being pet and rubbed, and love to trade head bonks for tummy rubs. I'm easily trainable and in fact, this is a photo of me as a youngster doing a great High Five. I love to play with string toys and will jump and run once I know it's safe! If you decide I would be a good fit for your household, Happy Cats will help you with my transition into your home.
I'm about 4 years old, so my adoption fee is $80, which includes important virus testing, neuter, microchip, vaccinations, food and litter starter kit, and a free vet visit voucher!
