Lila's Story...
Hi, my name is LILA and I am a VERY CUTE 4 month old Brown Tabby girl. I was recently rescued from a terrible hoarding situation where I was kept in a crate for my entire life! Thank goodness Posh Pets saved my siblings and me from that horrendous experience. Now I’m free, although a bit SHY, but I’m learning to TRUST again through the love and PATIENCE of my kind human saviors. Here are a few facts about me: I LOVE to PLAY with my siblings and I will PURR when I get PETTED. One of my favorite pastimes is eating wet food and I tend to get a little Vocal when my breakfast is being prepared. I definitely appreciate a good meal! Now I’m ready to begin the next chapter of my life in a loving forever home. Are you ready for your furr-ever pal? I am spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lila, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
