My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Can you say super cute?!? Biscuit is not only absolutely adorable but she has personality plus! This girl was saved from a high kill shelter just in time and she is so happy about life now! She is friendly, playful and super sweet. She gets along well with all our other foster dogs and they run and play in the big fenced yard all day with no issues. Biscuit walks well on a leash, is completely crate trained and is quick to learn new skills. She would excel in a basic obedience class. At approximately 6.5 months old, Biscuit weighs in at only 24 pounds. This girl enjoys toys, attention and spending quiet time watching television and getting petted and scratched. She is now fully vetted and ready for her new home! Biscuit is looking for an inside forever home where she will live as part of the family and get the attention, training and devoted time that she deserves. Do you have room in your life for such an awesome little girl? If so, contact info.caresga@gmail.com for an adoption application. You can also download one from our website www.caresga.org. We DO adopt up north and all over so just ask for details. To ensure our pets receive a great home, a vet reference is required for all adoptions (this means you have to have had a dog/cat so we can check the history of care).

Adoption fees for puppies are $300, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip is included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.

We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
