Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ginny and Bugsy, our Outlaw Kittens, arrived as scared but handleable kittens from a feral colony. We at first thought they might prefer an outdoor only home, but they have shown us recently that they actually really like humans - lots of purring whenever their favorite volunteers pick them up and cuddle them - so now we are hoping to find indoor/outdoor or even indoor only homes for them. They were born about 5/30/16, and are really unusual looking cats, with an oriental shaped body type and reverse tabby coloring. We think they will do well in homes with calm, quiet energy - groups of toddlers on play dates would be their worst nightmare, but they will love having people who enjoy reading by the fire, watching some TV, gardening, sharing kitty treats, and relaxing together after a hard day.
Ginny has warmed up to humans quite quickly and has become a fun, talkative girl who has some mousing skills and gets along well with the other cats she has met.
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome . Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies." Ginny would be a great pair with her brother Bugsy, or with any of her friends in Kitten Room 2.
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee for Ginny is suggested minimum $50 (more gratefully accepted). Discount for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
