This sweet girl is Lexi. She is playful, cuddly, and very gentle. She is a tiny little one too, and looks like she is only a kitten, but they are estimating her age to be about 2 years old. Lexi was picked up in the downtown Powder Springs area and brought to the shelter as a stray on 10/15/2016. She allowed herself to be picked up, petted, played with, after sharing only just one little chicken nugget. She is very friendly. She is available for adoption on 10/22/2016. Lexi is current on her vaccines and she will be spayed, microchipped, and Combo Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDs tested when adopted. Lexi's ID at the shelter is 589690 and she is in cage 637. Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEXI - reclaimed, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
