Charlotte's Story...
Up for adoption: Charlotte! What a beautiful girl!

She can be adopted in Texas and New England. Dog, kid and cat friendly!

Charlotte is about 7 months old and we think she is a sweet lab/pointer mix.

She is very good with dogs, kids, and even cats!!! She is very smart and has already learned "sit" and "cage".

She sleeps through the night and is not very vocal. She is incredibly laid back and is small in stature. She has all her shots up-to-date and eats and sleeps well.

She currently weighs about 27 pounds. She will snuggle with any person or dog that wants to, and has not shown any limitations. She plays very hard and loves to chase and wrestle with her foster parent's 75 pound pitbull (she always wins).

She is vaccinated, housetrained, cratetrained and
microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlotte, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
