Triscuit's Story...
Triscuit (aka Shiro) is a stunningly handsome boy! He loves being close to his humans and never misses an opportunity to curl up for a good nap by their side. Triscuit is looking for a perfect home where he can be the center of attention. He is deaf, and although this doesn’t cause him any problems, it can cause cats that he lives with a problem. He doesn't always realize he's bothering them because he can’t hear them hiss or growl. There are some definite advantages of adopting a deaf cat – he is an excellent traveler and usually falls asleep in the exam room whenever he has to pay a visit to the vet. He's not afraid of thunderstorms; in fact, he loves them because he gets to enjoy the awesome lightning! He's just a regular, loveable fellow. Admit it; you can’t wait to meet him so you can gaze into his baby blue eyes. Don’t be shy - he's a lover! Let’s get our "happily ever after" started today. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Triscuit, a Nashville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
