Carter Squeak's Story...
From the time I was a tiny baby, I was a Kitty Save kitty. Then I was adopted and all was well, but then my family changed and I couldn't stay with them. So, now I am back with Kitty Save and hoping for a true Forever Home.

I am easy-going and get along with other kitties. I enjoy the company of people, but the best part of my day is sitting around looking marvelous. Yes, I am so pretty I can make myself swoon. I'd like a home where I can be part of the family and have a very place there.

I live at The Charming Cat Corner in Vista Ridge Mall. Come see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter Squeak, a The Colony Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in The Colony, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in The Colony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Colony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Colony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Colony paves the way for another one to be saved.
