EMMIE's Story...
Stunning cat! Red is definitely her color! Beautiful SLEEK Emmie is a "Hemmingway Kitty" or "Polydactyl Kitty." She was dumped behind a local casino to fend for herself after clearly being used to having a home. She is friendly, loves attention and is happy to be held or lie next to you in a soft kitty bed! She does have "cattitude" when she has had enough so small children would not be best for Emmie. She is a healthy girl who is litter trained and prefers an easy bowl of dry kibble to expensive canned food. We estimate Emmie to be 2-3 years old. And if you chose to adopt Emmie, she comes with a brand new cat condo and all of her supplies! If you would like to meet this gorgeous girl, please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EMMIE, a Las Vegas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
