Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to the darling Layla! She is a 6 month old girl and weighs only 28 pounds. She initially came to the shelter as a little lost girl and thought she found her forever home when she was adopted but sadly she was returned. The person who adopted her did not know the breed and did not know how to work with a deaf dog. Yes, Layla is deaf but she has learned the hand signal for sit. Layla is young and will learn very quickly once she has a job to do. She is already spayed, current on vaccines, micro-chipped and tested negative for heart worms so she is all set to go. You will find Layla waiting in run 331 in the small dog room and her ID# is 589435.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
