Sunkist's Story...
Meet Sunkist a sweet 10 year old maltipoo that was surrender to the shelter by her owners, requesting her to be euthanized. She had been bleeding for about a year and they didn't know what was wrong with her. Well.....once again....thanks to the kind staff at Bonita shelter, they opted not to euthanize her.
Instead.....they they did surgery on her and removed a bladder stone that was the size of a golf ball.
She has ear infections that we'll get healed and have already scheduled her dental for next week.
This gal is so mellow and sweet. She'll go in no time through our Senior to Senior Adoption Program
Stay tuned for another happy beginning to unfold soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunkist, a San Diego Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
