Hunter's Story...
Hunter is fostered in Freemont California. For more information go to http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Hunter is a 9 year old, 10lb Silky Terrier who came to United Yorkie in September 2016 as an owner surrender after his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. Hunter is house trained, does well with other dogs, and is up to date on vaccinations. He was a very well cared for boy by his former mommy and is a great little boy!
Hunter loves to go for walks and often is found sleeping next to his leash, if left where he can access it. He sleeps in his doggie bed at night but would love to sleep with his humans if he could.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Fremont Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Fremont, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Fremont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fremont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fremont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fremont paves the way for another one to be saved.
