Bravo is fostered in Urbandale IA through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org
Bravo is estimated to be six years old and weighs 9 lbs. He came to United Yorkie Rescue in September 2016, from a shelter. He was most likely left at a shelter due to health issues, which have been resolved. While in the shelter, he showed some aggression. However, in the months he has been in a foster home environment, his behavior is much better. Due to showing aggressive behavior at the shelter, UYR was asked to take over his care. Bravo's forever home will need to be close to foster mom's home, a local adoption. As Bravo's new to our rescue, and has had some issues we're taking time to evaluate him and work through any behavioral issues he may have. His aggression issues have not been a problem since he's come to UYR, his issues seem to be a result of stress., being sick and abandoned which would cause most dogs to be afraid and defensive. Bravo is a cuddle buddy, he would rather be in your lap, or right beside you then anywhere else. At this time grooming has been the only 'challenge' identified.
