Beef's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and not good with cats.

Beef's Story...
Beef has become one of the few longest residents here at MCAS. He has been here for 2 months now after being picked up stray and never reclaimed. This big boy definitely has some quirks to him, we've noticed that he does not do well with cats but he is learning to tolerate dogs. We would definitely suggest a meet and greet with dogs (he is picky on who he likes). Beef is about a year old. He is a fantastic dog that seems to be a fun, loving. Although he has some quirks, he truly is and will make a great companion for someone that would be willing to give him the chance. He deserves to have a forever home with a loving family. If you are interested in this fella, stop in and ask to meet him today. UPDATE- a very generous donation has been given to Beef from a private citizen in the form of a Neuter. Beef is now back from the vet and is neutered!!! He is also heartworm negative, so he is now ready for his forever home!! Thanks to all that are willing to give Beef a new lease on a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beef, a Troy Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Troy, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
