Felix is a 4 1/2 month old pure bred Red male Shiba Inu puppy that our rescue got from an Amish breeder/puppy mill release. Through a chain of contacts we found out that this particular puppy mill was downsizing, turns out because they were having to shut down for failed inspections, and were trying to disperse their dogs. Felix is one of the lucky ones as dogs that stay in the mill system rather than going to rescue turn into breeding dogs for more breeders and breed over and over and over again in small cages, producing puppies for pet stores, for the rest of their lives.
Felix is super sweet and very playful. He can be a trouble maker, always looking for something to put in his mouth but he just likes to carry around his treasures, not necessarily destroy them, but his goofy and outgoing personality make up for it. He is crate trained and runs in for his meals. We feed all our dogs in their crates whenever we lock them up, so when we go to work/school and at bedtime. He is still learning to ask to potty outside but improving. He has been socialized with dogs, cats and children but still shy in new situations.
Felix's adoption fee is $525 which includes his neuter, microchip, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations and a 6 week training course at an approved facility.
