Jaxx's Story...
Hi my name is Jaxx, I'm a 55lb, 1-2 year old American Bulldog mix.

I'm a very friendly, curious boy with a fun personality, I love to play with my toys, lay in the sun, go for walks, snuggle and just be with my human. I am crate trained and house broken and I know some basic commands. I'm and taking some training classes now to learn more. I get very excited around other dogs, some I'm ok with, but I need some work in that area. I'm not sure about cats since I haven't been around them in my foster home. Oh and I'm a little afraid of thunder too.

I think I would do best with an active family and I'm very curious so my foster mom doesn't think I'm ready to be home alone yet without being in my crate. Everyone that meets me, loves me too!

If you'd like to meet Jaxx, please fill out an Adoption Application at www.dalrescuetampabay.org or email daldoglady@netzero.net
Home and vet checks required. Adoption fee is $150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaxx, a Tampa American Bulldog/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Dalmatian for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Bulldog/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Dalmatian breeders who help with American Bulldog/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
