Willow's Story...
Willow, an 8 year old Coonhound Mix, found herself without a home when her mom passed away from cancer. We fell in love with Willow the moment we met her! Because her mom was so sick, Willow's ear infections became severe and she developed polyps in both ears, requiring surgery. We are happy to report that she had surgery on both ears and is in complete recovery and feeling so much better now! Willow is an absolute angel on Earth, gentle and sweet with all - dogs, cats and even little kids. She is ready to make some family very, very lucky and happy. So folks, lineup for Willow, she is that wonderful!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Oakland Gardens Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
