My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Donna! I was found with my littermates in Puerto Rico 7 years ago. All of my brothers and sisters were adopted except me and my sister Delia, because we were considered the “shy ones”. I spent the next five years in a shelter in Puerto Rico with my sister Delia and in March of 2015, we were finally sent to the shelter in N.Y. We have been waiting ever since!

I love my sister and I get really nervous when she is out of my sight. I guess you could say that Delia is my rock. She gives me courage! I really, really want love...but I usually make you come to me. I am pretty good at staying just out of arm's length so you can't pet me unless you “Come n' Get Me”! I have made friends with the shelter people, and when they do hug me, I relax alittle and actually like it!

I LOVE playing with toys! We didn't have many in Puerto Rico so the people at the shelter here give us a lot of them! I love to run and run. I really hope that someone out there will give me...us...a chance. We have never had a home to call our own! I am silly and I promise to keep you laughing!
