Max's Story...
super-duper, happy, playful, bouncy, handsome, low-to-the-ground little 7-month-old terrier/beagle mix is Max. He is definitely not shy, and has made friends with all the dogs and volunteers at A New Dawn. Max loves to play fetch with a toy, and is learning to bring it back for more fun. He will soon complete his vaccinations and be neutered and microchipped so that he can join your family forever. He is heartworm free and taking flea and heartworm preventative. Applications are being taken for his future adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Deer Park Beagle/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Deer Park, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Deer Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Deer Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Deer Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Deer Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
