Biaggio's Story...
Hi, my name is BIAGGIO and I am a giant ball of ORANGE fluff weighing in at 15 pounds. Not too long ago a police officer spotted my carrier on the side of the road and upon closer inspection saw that I was trapped inside, alone and hungry. The kind officer took me to the precinct and called Posh Pets Rescue and now I am in foster care awaiting a second chance to find love and a forever home. Here are some facts about me: I’m 8 years young, a MAINE COON mix male with my front paws DECLAWED. Being left on the side of the road was very stressful, so I am going to need a PATIENT person who will understand and give me time to settle in. My foster mom has gotten to know me and she has said the following about me. “Once BIAGGIO trusts you, he is a total LOVE BUG. He will RUB all over you and HANG OUT with you to keep you COMPANY. He even COMES when called. He is very EASY GOING and thrives on HUMAN ATTENTION. He even gets along nicely with other CATS after a slow introduction.” Intrigued? I thought you would be. Come meet me! I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biaggio, a Long Beach Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
