Ella's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Ella's Story...
Ella is a 3 yr old 7 lb Morkie. She's a super sweet girl who enjoys sitting in your lap or basking in the sunshine. She is NOT house trained and will need patient, consistent work with this. She is food motivated so can easily be taught new things. Ella has been around other dogs and cats and does okay, but will constantly bark at them and does not engage in play. She really prefers to have her people all to herself. Sweet Ella will be a great companion to the perfect home. No young kids. Her adoption fee is $250, which includes all vet work, leash & harness, 30'days of pet insurance, microchip, bed and a small bag of food.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Kansas City Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese dog from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
