Rico Suave's Story...
Rico is a young boy, born approximately Feb 2016. He was hit by a car as a stray, which is how he came to us. Fortunately, nothing was broken and he healed fine. Currently, he is being cared for by a foster family and lives with other dogs, cats, and children. He is a fun, energetic pup that loves running and playing outside. Rico likes to give a lot of kisses, loves to be loved on, and cuddled. Rico gets scared around loud noises, but does fine once he is reassured that it's ok. Rico would be a great companion for a small or large family. Rico is house-trained, crate trained and recently completed obedience training. He is available for adoption and would love to find a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rico Suave, a Goldsboro Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Goldsboro, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Goldsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goldsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goldsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goldsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
