Meeka is very affectionate with people. She doesn’t relentlessly ask for attention, but she will never complain if you want to endlessly shower her with attention.. With other cats she can be a bit bossy, but does enjoy being around other cats. She’s particularly flirty with the boys. Her foster mom described her a bit like “Lucy” from the peanuts. One minute she’s rubbing up against the other cats, and the next she’s yanking the football away at the last second. Meeka currently lives with one female, and three male cats and gets along well with everyone. It doesn’t hurt that all of her roommates are non-confrontational easy going cats. Meeka will need slow introductions to other cats, and we feel that she will do best introduced into a home with an existing cat(s), rather than having a cat introduced once she is established. Meeka would also be perfectly content as an only cat. FIV+
If you happen to be looking for a pair of cats Meeka is being fostered with Marshall. Although they are friendly with each other they are not a bonded pair and do not need to be adopted together. (Marshall - http://www.adoptapet.com/pet/10267594-frankfort-illinois-cat )
