Maximus's Story...
My name is Max (Maximus). I came from a home that could no longer keep me. I am a loving

boy who seeks out cuddles and snuggles. I love to go to the off leash dog park and I get along

amazingly with every other dog I meet big and small. My recall is fantastic I like to know where

you are and will follow you around the park. I have two little foster sisters and two little fuzzy

kittens living in my foster moms home and so far I am getting along with all of them though I

am nervous of the razor sharp fuzzies.. My perfect home would be somewhere where I have a

playmate and someone who wants a cuddle buddy. I sleep on the pillow on the floor in my

mamas room but sometimes I end up in the bed because I love her so much. I like little people

and so far have not met a person I don't enjoy although I am shy so it may take me a few

minutes to warm up. Please let my mama know if you would like to meet me!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Edmonton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
