Newton is such a funny, adorable boy! He didn't have an easy past
life; at some point, he was hit by a car resulting in a dislocated
left front leg and a broken right rear leg. Neither received medical
care so he's left with a unique gait which resembles a peg-legged
pirate's stiff-legged way of walking. When I see Newton ambling
around, I always want to say "Aye, matey!" His legs don't slow him
down, though; Newton runs and plays and explores like a 3 year old.
He's also very affectionate and relishes getting his ears scratched
and his back rubbed; he's got huge, limpid brown eyes that he uses to
full affect. It's impossible to resist him when he's asking for some
loving. Newton gets along well with other dogs but would be fine as
an only dog, too. He likes to go on walks but also enjoys cuddle time
on the sofa. What a great boy he is! His adoption fee is $150; he's
neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

About Waldo's Muttley Crew

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people who, first and foremost, love animals and want to assist dogs & cats in need. We attempt to educate people concerning appropriate pet care as well as the importance of spay/neuter in order to address the severe over-population of these animals in the U.S.

Come Meet Our Pets...

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application. You can find that application on our website -- www.waldosmuttleycrew.org -- click on "Applications", then "Adoption Application". This is no way obligates you to adopt, but it helps to determine if a particular rescue would be a good fit for your family.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees generally range from $100-$250. We require completion of an application after which we proceed with a verbal interview, make personal and veterinary reference checks, then conduct a home visit to verify that the home is pet-friendly and safe. Upon approval of an application, we require the signing of an adoption agreement contract which specifies that appropriate care will be taken of the animal in question as well as requiring return of the pet to the organization if the adopters are unable to keep it at some point in the future.
