My name is Magnum and I arrived to FOA as a stray. Shortly after I arrived I tested positive for FIV. FIV stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. FIV typically causes a weakening of the immune system. It is in the same class of virus as HIV. However, only cats can get FIV, I cannot give it to humans or dogs. I will have to be an indoor kitty for the rest of my life. I can live with FIV-negative cats, as long as we do not fight, but that is a risk you would have to be willing to take. I am a super sweet boy and very affectionate! I love to rub on anything and everything and will give out plenty of kisses and love bites if you give me attention! I am a very laid back and lazy boy and you will most likely find me napping or all sprawled out and comfy in my bed. I would do very well with children of all ages, but am a little unsure of dogs. Come meet me !!
Magnum's adoption fee is $25 + tax and includes micro-chipping!
All adoption's are subject to approval.
All animals are current on their vaccination based on their age and time at the shelter. Some animals may require boosters. Please note: MN state law requires rabies vaccinations be given by a licensed veterinary. Because FOA does not have a full time vet on staff, some animals may not have had their rabies shots.
