Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Vincent is an Anatolian Shepard, likely pure-bred, about 13 months old. He had a bit of a rough start - he was dumped, physically shoved out of a truck, severely underweight with a wound encircling his neck from a rope. He has gained a good amount of weight and his wounds have healed. His spirit is happy and it shows. He is a fantastic boy who enjoys being treated as part of a family and loves everyone with everything he has! He is house and crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash.
The Anatolian breed is known for high intelligence, and a calm protective manner. He seems to be the epitome of his breed. He is very intelligent, learns quickly, and is pretty laid back. He would make an excellent companion or working dog with some training.
His silly personality peeks out more and more, he loves belly rubs and is positive he fits in all manner of small laps and couch spots. He has come a very long way recovering from his early trauma, but he still is wary of being left alone outside and sometimes frightened by yelling. He loves to be with people and other dogs, is eager to please. He would do best as an indoor pet, with an active family that includes him in activities and does not leave him alone longer than 5 hours per day. He will continue to need daily walks and ball fetching time.
This is one amazing dog - a very sought after breed, he is still growing and getting up to normal weight, so families comfortable with large breeds - this is your guy!
