Meet Brick. This boy is stunning in appearance and in personality. Hound people will know when we say that he is still a giant pup at almost 2 years old. Brick is a full-blooded bloodhound and full-blooded silly. We love this guy! Brick's family went through some changes that took away all of their time from Brick. Brick has done nothing wrong.

Brick is great with other dogs. He has also been raised around cats. His bestest buddy in his former home was a super cuddly cat. Brick has also been raised around children. Any kids in his forever home have to understand that Brick bounces when excited and means no harm. At 100 pounds he may be too much for very small children.

This big guy is as sweet as they come, but needs some work on training. He would do best in a home willing to teach him basic commands, such as jumping to greet his favorite people. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but his excited greeting of slobbery kisses and saying hello with hugs might not be the best of manners. Brick has never had much of an opportunity to do what Bloodhounds like to do best--sniff and run, run and sniff. We would love for him to go to a home with a secure fence so that he can run and play to his heart's content.

Brick is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is also house trained and crate trained.

If you are interested in giving Brick a home and you have a securely fenced yard, then please complete an adoption application on our website at His adoption fee is $250.

About PawSwaP of Greater Lafayette

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a rescue/ rhoming service that provides education and assistance for owners in our community to keep pets in their home. When that is not an option or we come across animals in need, we will take them into our foster-based program, work with them, seek all necessary vetting, and find them the perfect home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do various adoption events in the community. If you would like to meet one of our available adoptables, please email us!

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application on our website. Once we have reviewed the applications, we will contact the potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet. This can take several days depending on the popularity of the animal.
