Leon's Story...
ON TRIAL / EN PÉRIODE D'ESSAI
Did you know that the majority of small dogs are given up because of housebreaking problems? Leon is no different. This 12 lb. bundle of energy was adopted from Animatch several months ago and finds himself in need of a home again because he was having "accidents". Keep in mind small dogs have small bladders and need more frequent toilet breaks. Also, some small breeds such as the Lhasa Apso and the Bichon Frise are notorious for being slower to housebreak. Leon needs a routine schedule, consistency, and, of course, patience. Leon is a smart, little dog and is already learning what is expected of him. Leon will need frequent brushing and regular trips to the groomer. He is a solid and sturdy fellow who loves to go for long walks. Do you have the time and patience to get Leon back on the right track? In return for your hard work, you will have a loyal and affectionate companion in Leon. Please fill in the on-line Adoption Form if you are interested in adopting

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leon, a Ile-Perrot Lhasa Apso/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Bichon Frise for sale in Ile-Perrot, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Ile-Perrot.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ile-Perrot already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ile-Perrot breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ile-Perrot paves the way for another one to be saved.
