Ghost's Story...
The "Halloween Litter" of puppies were born into our rescue after we rescued their mom from a puppy mill in MS. Mom is a Shih Tzu and we believe dad is a Poodle based on who mom was housed with and their curly hair! The pups are about 9 weeks old.

The rescue, dubbed "Operation Summer Saves" can be seen by clicking on the attached link:

Thankfully these pups have never known a bad day! They have always been cared for and loved and are very happy, social pups. They are currently being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these pups to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ghost, a Southington Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Southington, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
