Facts about Citrus

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Citrus is not an indoor cat, he could become one with a lot of patience and time. He is not happy indoors, he is used to being outside but after we had him neutered the people opted not to have him returned. It isn’t much fun outdoors especially in the winter months but if that is the life you know, it can’t be all bad. Citrus might make an excellent barn cat, he would need a dry/warm place to sleep, fresh water daily and food. He would catch mice and rats but would need a daily diet of cat food. Cats usually only want to impress their owners with their catch of the day or it’s a play toy. Call Kohl’s if you are in need of a barn cat.

About Kohls Cat House

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a few good women and men who are worried about the state of our cat population here in Coos County. We take them into our cat house. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house with two outdoor pens for sunshine. The cats have the run of the house except the infirmary where they spend at least 10 days upon arrival.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week, but we do shopping, laundry and other feline things such as trap, spay clinic and vet visits. So please call before arriving, make sure one of our many volunteers is here to assist you. Thanks for looking.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you spend time with the feline of your choice, fill out an adoption form and realize this is a commitment of 15 or more years, the life of the cat. Our fees start are $35 or more per senior cat $50 per adult cat and $100 or more per kitten, this is a non refundable adoption fee. All have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, de-flea and de-wormed, some have been Felv/FIV tested.
