found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Duncan is an adorable little guy with a very curious, independent spirit. He is super friendly, and will run to greet visitors with a big smile and wagging tail. (He will also announce visitors with a few barks, to let you know company has arrived!) Duncan loves to play with toys, and he is good about sharing toys with others. He is very gentle with them, and doesn't destroy them. He is not a big chewer, though he appreciates having a good chew bone now & again! He is learning to fetch, and is really fast for the "chase it" part, but still needs work on bringing it back! Duncan has a good amount of energy, and will benefit from 3 solid walks a day and lots of playtime! He is super smart, and loves to learn new things -- he needs new experiences and activities to keep him happy and engaged.
Duncan is not a big cuddler, unless he comes to you -- then he will sit by you while you pet his beautiful coat. He is fine with kids, but may be a little too independent to be your child's "best pal" -- Duncan is all about exploring his world, and would be an amazing hiking or running partner. He will "check in" with the human on the other end of the leash for reassurance every now and then, but for the most part he is scouting the world for his next adventure! Duncan isn't a fence jumper, but if a gate was accidentally left open he would probably take the opportunity to explore! Duncan does fine in the crate, though he isn't crazy about going in and will whine at first. He seems to be housebroken, and will head toward the door if he needs to go outside -- he is very good about communicating different needs. He pulls a bit on leash, but his foster family is working with him on that. Duncan would be happiest with an active family to do fun things with, and to love!
