Nefertiti is a wonderful and beautiful, glossy coated Tux kitty! She has a great temperament with kids and purrs whenever touched! She has been wormed, flea treated with Revolution, and has been vaccinated for FVCRP & rabies until October 2017.

She is a very playful and loves toys attached to poles with feathers. Nefertiti also likes to lounge on the window sill in the sun and gaze at the butterflies in the afternoon.

Nefertiti likes to tell you stories in the morning about how her night went, and will guide you to her food bowl to let you know that she needs more in it. She would make a great addition to any home as a first time cat or the avid cat lover.

We are only asking $50 adoption donation for this great girl! Please message us if you are interested.

About Castaway Cats Rescue of Coastal Georgia

About Our Rescue Group...

Castaway Cats Rescue of Coastal Georgia is dedicated to reducing the number of adoptable cats from being euthanized in Animal Control facilities across Georgia.

Our rescue is not like other shelters. In fact, we are not really a shelter at all! We specialize specifically in rescuing cats and kittens from animal control facilities. Our animals are kept in pens or cages only when medically necessary (i.e. contagious), otherwise they are raised in foster homes with children and other animals to give them the best chance of transitioning into their furever homes.

We ensure a full range of veterinarian services are provided, Every cat adopted from our rescue is spayed or neutered before it leaves. Other services include all required immunizations, flea treatments, deworming, and feline disease testing!

It's our mission to fix the homeless pet problem in Coastal Georgia, but we can't do it alone. It will take all of us working together. Time and resources are a constant challenge, so if you are capable of providing either, here are some ways you can help!

Adoptions are great, but a $35 dollar donation spays or neuters a homeless cat and prevents the need for more adoptions. Thank you for supporting us!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have cats in the PetsMart Adoption Center in Savannah, GA on Abercorn Street.

We attend all of the PetSmart National Adoption Weekend events as well as some other area events.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters must have permission of their landlord & paid pet deposit or own their own home. There is a simple contract when adopting a kitty, don't worry, we aren't asking for your blood type or tissue samples.

Cats must be indoor cats only.

Adopters must have thought the decision through about adding a pet that will need love, food, medicine and medical care for the next 16+ years.

All animals are neutered/spayed, tested for FIV/Felv, vaccinated according to age, microchipped, wormed with general dewormer and on a monthly flea preventative.

Adoption fees and specifics are mentioned for each cat in the listing.
