Joey's Story...
Joey is a neutered, 10-month-old, Coonhound-Beagle (or Harrier) mix. This 40-pound pup is a sweet & friendly boy who is starting to get used to the idea of some quality crate time & working on house training.

Joey loves attention and loves to play. He still has puppy energy so he'd be great for an active family/family with kids that will make sure he gets the exercise & mental stimulation a dog of his age needs. He's also very dog friendly and would love to be in a family with a puppy playmate to entertain and keep company.

Joey is not recommended for a family with cats or other small critters but he'll make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joey, a Kimberton Coonhound/Harrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound/Harrier for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Coonhound/Harrier puppy from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Harrier breeders who help with Coonhound/Harrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
