Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PENDING MEET AND GREET
Barney is hoping to travel to Wisconsin on November 13th!
For being a homeless dog, Barney was a lucky one. He shared his life on the streets with his homeless human dad. He was well behaved and well loved. So well loved that his dad decided to hand him over to rescue so that Barney could have a safe home with a family. We know it was a tough decision but a decision that we respect and feel honored that he has entrusted us to find the perfect home for Barney.
Barney is extremely friendly and happy all of the time. He is interested in meeting everyone that crosses his path – men, women, kids, other dogs large & small, cats, he doesn’t care. His favorite toy is a bouquet of flowers that comes apart, and he’s always carrying a flowers wherever he goes, he takes it to bed with him and even outside to potty, and then carries it back. Barney is housetrained and will also use a crate but doesn’t really need one. He is not destructive when left alone and very well behaved. Barney walks perfectly on a leash and loves to take car rides. He is small enough (8 pounds) to travel on a plane if his adopter wishes to travel with him along. Barney is a fun-loving and perky little dog that charms his way into everyone’s heart. He will certainly make his future adopter very happy. Thanks for choosing to ADOPT your next pet.
Barney is fully vetted, neutered, UTD on vaccines, heartworm negative & microchipped.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
