Oliver's Story...
Oliver is a dreamboat - capable of melting hearts the moment you make eye contact with him! This gray fluffy kitty is so tiny and soft he reminds you of a stuffed animal! Oliver is a sweet, mellow, lovable little guy who loves nothing more than spending quality time with his people. Oliver loves hanging out in your lap where he’ll begin purring quietly only moments after petting commences! He enjoys having his nose scratched and will head butt you to request this service. Don’t be surprised if Oliver’s whole face ends up in your hand as he relishes your attention and adoration! If Oliver rolls over and exposes his belly, that is your cue to pet, scratch, and kiss every part of his body. Oliver also enjoys being picked up and held. Yes, Oliver is one snuggly little dude!

Don’t think for a minute that being snuggly means there’s no time to play! Quite the contrary, Oliver LOVES ribbons, wands, and other toys that make fun sounds or he can chew. And Oliver doesn’t let the fact that he’s missing 1 of his front legs slow him down one bit! Yes, our tripod kitty has been known to back-up and take a running start to jump on a chair in order to catch a naughty feather wand that was taunting him unbearably! Oscar’s recovery has been amazing as he proves how adaptable he is to adjusting to 1 less leg. When Oliver’s tuckered out and his people aren’t available, he’s happy to take a nap in a cozy cat bed or a kitty condo!

Oliver enjoys the companionship of other friendly kitties and thinks another feline friend or 2 in his new home would be great fun! If you’re looking for some extra love and laughter in your life, you can’t go wrong with making this charming little boy the newest member of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Phoenix Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
