My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cubby is one cuddly little Pharaoh Hound or Pharaoh Hound mix!?! We'll never know, because we didn't know his parents, but you can order a DNA test for approx. $100 and have the mystery revealed!

This little guy needs rescue because he has been pretty fearful during his time at the county animal shelter. He is an approximately 1 year old , weighing 7.8 lbs.

Cubby was picked up as a stray in West Sacramento. While he did warm up a little during his evaluation, he did growl and act fearful when handled by medical staff, so rescue was requested and responded with a: "YES! We'll help him!"

Cheese seems to help Cubby find his courage, and boy does he LOVE cheese! He LOVES it so much, he should be easy to train with treats! During his visit in the office, Chubby welcomed belly rubs, cuddled in my lap, and even did a little dance for some cheese.
