Charlie's Info...

Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a senior boy looking for his forever *family*! At his age, he's earned the right to be a little discerning and wants things to be his way. Some may call that grumpy, but he just sees it as wanting to just live his life with little commotion. He responds well to an alpha who reminds him who is the leader in the family. He is very vocal and likes to "talk" a lot. In fact, he told us he wants a home with no young children! Older children who are respectful of dogs and their space will be just fine. Oh, and a home with few steps would be ideal (what senior wants steps?). He does not love to be picked up and handled...but he does love his treats! So you can woo him to do what you want with treats. When he becomes comfortable with you, he will stick to you like glue. If you think you can provide the forever *family* Charlie deserves, please apply at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Millersville Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Millersville, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Millersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Millersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Millersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Millersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
