Jack-O-Adopted!'s Story...
Jack-O came to HFE along with his sisters Spice and Cider. He is the only boy in the litter and he's got stunning blue eyes and a darker muzzle. He's so sweet and much calmer than his sisters. He likes to play and wrestle with them but he will sit and stare longingly at us until we just have to pick him up. He loves kids and he has played with other dogs before. He's a little shy when you first meet him but it doesn't take him long to warm up. He's not house trained yet but he's working on it. He keeps his crate clean as long as he's not left for too long. Approx DOB 8/24/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack-O-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
