Bruce's Story...

Bruce is such a sweet boy. Bruce was rescued from the desert when he was 8-10 weeks old. His mom is a feral dog who had him and his brother outside. He had no human contact until we found him. He has come along way since then, learning to love and trust humans. He is a little shy at first when he meets new people, but once you develop a bond with him it is so amazing to see him come out of his shell. Bruce is amazing with small dogs he has the patience of a saint with them. He is also very good with children and cats. Bruce has a unique trait of his breed. He has one blue and one brown eye. Each of his eyes has a speck of the opposite color in them, they are called cracked eyes. If interested in Bruce, please contact his foster mom Tina at or come see him on Sundays at the Chandler Petsmart from 11-4 at 2840 W. Chandler Blv

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Phoenix Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
