Puggi's Story...
Hey! My name is Puggi. I am seven weeks old and I weigh 5.7 pounds (10/20/16). Here is my story. My dog mom was put out at a church. After trying to locate my owner, a kind church member took mom home. What happened next? My three siblings and I were born! Our mom appears to be a full blooded pug. I guess her prior owner thought she needed some religion after being knocked up by a traveling salesman. Well we think that was for the best! The church member adopted mom and we are so happy for her! Now it is my time to shine. I am as cute as a pug in a rug, and I am looking for my FURever family. I'm living in McComb, Mississippi, but the good folks at Animal Rescue Front will bring me up north to you and the trip is included in the adoption fee. If you're interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puggi, a Groton Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Groton, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
